If you have a blog like mine or need to write some technical documentation for a client where screen shots would be helpful, your probably familiar with the tried-and-true pressing CNTRL + Print Screen to get a screen capture you can then paste to a Word document. Unfortunately, this has some very bad limitations. For example, you can’t take a screen shot of just one section of the screen or just the active window. Well, look no further than Snag-IT. Snag-IT is a handy little screen shot utility that I use for making documentation and, of course, making the screen shots you see on this blog. And, at $39.95 a copy, I would say it is a real bargain.
